Note to self....

Try not to go to the centre of Australia at the height of summer!!!!

Righty ho then, now I've got that out of my system, let me tell you about my little jaunt to Alice.
1. it was hot
2. went to a few touristy spots ie

stanley chasm, ellery big hole, simpsons gap, telegraph station, etc.....

It was all very nice, untill you got out of the car and the fluid covering your eyeballs instantly dried, leaving you unable to close your eyelids for a couple of minutes, till your body was able to suck a few remaining drops from your dehydrated blood.

The dead mouse in the car airconditioning was a highlight I must say.
I will forever associate the smell of jasmine car air freshener with decomposing mouse. Yum!

Although the 5 year old that was constantly with us was very well behaved and quite cute at first, it still means that he is 5, ............ and constantly with us!

(not to mention his mother knocking on our door at 9am sunday morning - I was sleeping in, the others were at church. "You don't mind babysitting do you?"

"um, well, (rubbing sleep out of my eyes), I'm not quite sure what time church finishes".

"They shouldn't be too long - I've got the Tiler coming round to do our bathroom, cheerie O then".

Faarrkkk!!!!!! I could be a fucking psychopath or a frigging pedafile. Goodbye sunday morning sleep in, hello sick 5 year old with nits. What do I know about 5 year olds. Nothing. What do I want to know about 5 year olds - Fucking nothing or I would have had one myself already. Jeesh!

3 adults and 3 dogs sharing a one bedroom unit was also a highlight. I was led to believe (before coming to alice) that said one bedroom unit would turn into a 2 bedroom unit (we went up there to help said unit owner to move).

"There will be heaps of room, of course you can bring your dog".

Well, there wasn't heaps of room, and as soon as I got off the plane (in alice) aforementioned unit owner said "oh, you brought your dog".

Faarrrkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyway, there were a few nice moments, it was really good to see my friend again, and it was nice to travel up there with her sister.

Just never again.

Ps, never got to drink at the pub where my dad used to take me. Humph.

Hi Cat, Nice to read your blog. Found out heaps of info about you and the way you feel about people.
Maybe you should think about people's feelings before you write about them on your blog... oh and the fact that they may read it.
How many times do you need to farkkkk about us? You have a voice... next time use it instead of bitching about us 'behind our backs'. Whoops forgot.. It said on there there wont be a next time.
You've hurt you good friend and her sister... Lovely.
P.S. Check your spelling... Until and Standley!!

I make no excuses for my spelling or my feelings. This blog is my way of venting. Don't like it, don't read it.
People get disapointed when their expectations are not met. I was led to believe a number of things for that trip, of which they turned out to be false. So, I was disapointed in some ways.
What about my feelings? It was sposed to be a trip down memory lane. Well, it had all changed. Almost everything. Terribly bittersweet. Tell me you had a fantastic time and can't wait to do it again?
You lot are always bitching about each other behind each others backs.
I don't write about that do I?
At least I'm honest to myself.
I'm sorry if my feelings hurt your feelings. But they are my feelings.

If you dont care about peoples feelings and this is your way of venting... why ask them to read it and put it in their favourites list on their computer.
It your expectations were not met, then why not do something about it. Catch a taxi, do things on your own. If you want something stand up and ask for it or do it!
If you want a trip down memory lane... then take yourself. There was nothing stopping you except you.
