More good things.......
.......I found my nail file. Yay!
No, totally serious folks, it is really the small things in life that make the difference. Like not going home with shredded fingernails. It's a bit too late for me, but at least I found it on my last day here in the Plains of Despair.
That's right folks, my last day, or so they say.
BURN THOSE BRIDGES, BURN THEM ALL TO HELL!!!!
Just kidding, tho it is my last day here for a while hopefully, I'm going to work on Barrow Island next hitch.
And the news just keeps on getting better......I don't have to rig up the unit. This next job is going to have a 6 man crew, which means I get to be a basic mudlogger, and there will be a more senior guy on my shift, so I don't have to deal with all the political bull shit and keep the unit running all on my own, and the senior guys have to rig up, then I get to breeze in later when all the hard work is done.
And better still, I get to go swimming and snorkeling and surfing and building sandcastles, and even better still, I get to have all the frequent flyer points by flying in and out of Perth every couple of weeks. Yehar!!!

Hey cat
Nice to see things looking up for ya!Did you always move from rig to rig this much? And a CAT always needs her nail file ,need to keep-em sharp!:)
I move rigs every so often. The boss likes to shake things up a bit every now and again. Some guys go to a new rig every hitch, and some guys spend a year and a half on one rig. At the moment we are really short staffed, so everyone is a bit up in the air. Some of the bigger clients request certain people to work for them, and on the flipside, they also say who they don't want working for them.
