The other night..............

....................after I had got off tour at about 7.30am, I went and had my customary breakfast (but really my dinner) of scrambled eggs and bacon.

As I had worked an extremely strenuous night, I was rather hungry, even after my enormous plate of chicken and pig.

So, seeing as this rig has a 'mister whippy' type ice cream dispenser, I thought I might indulge in a massive bowl of hot chocolate pudding and ice cream.

I load up my man sized bowl with chocky pudding, then casually wander into the kitchen looking for the microwave. After a couple of laps, I asked the cook "where's the microwave?"

"I said the same thing" he replied.

Hmmnnn.........

So I ate my chocky pud cold and congealed, minus the ice cream, as I generally only have ice cream when it is on top of hot pudding/lamingtons/cake. You get the gist.

I think this was the first time in my life I have been in a kitchen sans microwave, and you know what, I felt the loss!

Bitter sweet and sad endings...........

..............hmnnnn.......

I think this is my last tour as a mudlogger.

I'm starting to feel a little sentimental about it. So many memories. I think I'm going to miss the desert, actually, I know that I'm going to miss it like crazy......and this lifestyle......sigh.

Sigh....... I never thought I'd feel like this. I'm actually starting to tear up a little........sigh.....

Anyway.....

My photos are getting closer and closer to getting put on the net. Any day now. Keep visiting people......don't lose hope, never lose hope!!!!!!!

Back in the plains of despair.......

............and you'd think with all the modern technology I have out here, I would be able to download my photo's from my camera to at least one of the 5 computers I have here in this room.

Well, I can't!

So you are just going to have to wait one more week dammit.

However, the wait will be worth it............ hmmnnnn............

(Modern technology - modern last century . . . . BRUAA HA ha ha ha ha......)
